\u00c2\u00a0Today we took possession of our new home.\u00c2\u00a0 We’ve got most of the packing done – there’s boxes everywhere.\u00c2\u00a0 Who knew we had this much stuff lurking in our home??\u00c2\u00a0 This Saturday will be moving day.\u00c2\u00a0 So the end is near for the packing end of things – unpacking will just be starting after this weekend.<\/p>\n
As of October 28, I will be off work for a whole year.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m very excited about this.\u00c2\u00a0 I missed the year maternity leave with my last one (had to go back after 6 months).\u00c2\u00a0 I’m really looking forward to enjoying a full year off with\u00c2\u00a0our baby.<\/p>\n
I also saw my doctor today.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m at 36 weeks.\u00c2\u00a0 She gave me “the papers”.\u00c2\u00a0 The papers I’m supposed to keep on me at all times just in case I go into labour.\u00c2\u00a0 She said the baby’s head is pretty much ‘down’, which is kind of interesting because often after you’ve had a few babies, the baby doesn’t actually ‘drop’ until you’re in labour.\u00c2\u00a0 This is baby number 3 for me.\u00c2\u00a0 Still, I’m not banking on going into labour early (my 2 boys were both reluctant to leave the womb and had to be ‘coaxed out’ \/ ie: labour was induced one week and one\u00c2\u00a0& a half weeks past my due date).\u00c2\u00a0 My husband\u00c2\u00a0says I’m pretty ‘chirpy’ about the whole ‘being late’ thing, and my doctor stressed that every pregnancy is different.\u00c2\u00a0 I guess we’ll see who’s right in a few weeks time.<\/p>\n
