{"id":314,"date":"2009-03-18T03:49:43","date_gmt":"2009-03-18T03:49:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/?p=314"},"modified":"2009-03-18T03:49:43","modified_gmt":"2009-03-18T03:49:43","slug":"exciting-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/?p=314","title":{"rendered":"Exciting news"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, no, not really.\u00a0 It&#8217;s just that my hubby said I should blog because I haven&#8217;t blogged in a while.\u00a0 Sorry, no incredibly profound thoughts rattling around here.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s a blip into my life:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>tired, so very tired &#8211; work is taking a lot out of me, but after March it should slow down a bit<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m taking holidays the first week of April so I&#8217;m looking forward to trying to rest &#8211; but maybe I&#8217;ll worry so much about making sure that I <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">rest<\/span> during those 10 days I&#8217;m off that I won&#8217;t actually rest and the closer I get to the end of my holidays and the lack of &#8216;resting&#8217; happening, the more stressed I&#8217;ll get so by the time I get back to work I&#8217;ll be just as stressed (or maybe worse) than I am right now &#8211; that doesn&#8217;t sound very good at all; please pray for rest for me &#8211; I haven&#8217;t been doing a lot of it lately<\/li>\n<li>I received an awesome expensive flat iron for Christmas and am loving it!\u00a0 Doing my hair is so much easier with that thing<\/li>\n<li>I love going on adventures with my little girl.\u00a0 On Saturday we went to Pooh Corner at the Library and then we went through a touchless car wash (as a kid, it was rare that we went through a car wash and I always remember it being so fascinating for me), and we had lunch at Tim Horton&#8217;s.\u00a0 It was a lot of fun.<\/li>\n<li>Still learning lots about being a manager and leading people, learning about the unnecessary stresses I put upon myself &#8211; still needing work on becoming free of those ones<\/li>\n<li>Reading through the Bible in one year.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve got a one year Bible that puts the books of the Bible and Bible passages in chronological order, which I love as I like to relate the different prophetic books with what was happening in Israel&#8217;s history in particular<\/li>\n<li>reading through Deuteronomy &#8211; I get the sense that Moses really knew the heart of God<\/li>\n<li>just created a &#8220;Jar of Doom&#8221; for the boys &#8211; for any infractions (not following the rules or doing their chores, or not listening, etc.) they&#8217;ll have to draw a piece of paper from the &#8220;jar of doom&#8221; and do what it says &#8211; I&#8217;ll keep you posted as to how it&#8217;s been working after we used it for a while<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That&#8217;s all for now&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, no, not really.\u00a0 It&#8217;s just that my hubby said I should blog because I haven&#8217;t blogged in a while.\u00a0 Sorry, no incredibly profound thoughts [&hellip;] <span class=\"read-more-link\"><a class=\"read-more\" href=\"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/?p=314\">Read More<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6,9,10],"tags":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/314"}],"collection":[{"href":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=314"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/314\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":316,"href":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/314\/revisions\/316"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=314"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=314"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"http:\/\/songofjoy.ca\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=314"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
