Whatever I watch, whatever I read &#8211; must have a happy ending.  I love fairy tales; someone &#8216;saves the day&#8217; and they live happily ever after.  Absolutely NO killing off any of the main characters.  For example, even though I can acknowledge that &#8220;The Titanic&#8221; was a well-made movie, I was completely ticked off at the end when they killed off Leonardo diCaprio&#8217;s character &#8211; they were supposed to survive, get married and live happily ever after.  I don&#8217;t care that Kate Winslett&#8217;s character led a full life because of what she had experienced &#8211; not happy ending in my books!  Some may think this is a silly sentiment, but I don&#8217;t care.  I will continue to live in my idealistic bubble (when it comes to movies and books, anyways) and always hope for the best.
