There were two very fun things today. <\/p>\n
1. Breakfast with Lila<\/strong>: Lila is part of our house church family and every week we go out for breakfast together and enjoy each other’s company. We started this summer and I have enjoyed every bit of it. I always look forward to our visits. Today we had breakfast at the Park Cafe<\/a>. <\/p>\n 2. Date Night with Hubby<\/strong>: normally my husband and I will go out on a date a couple of times a month but this was the first time we’d gone out in the evening for over a month. I always love going on dates with my husband (it helps a lot<\/em> that our children are old enough to be built-in babysitters). We enjoy having supper together and seeing movies. Tonight we had supper at the 2nd Ave Grill<\/a> (one of our favorite restaurants) and saw the movie “Silver Linings Playbook<\/a>“. I’m not normally a big fan of ‘chick flicks’ but this was rated 90% on Rotten Tomatoes<\/a> (a resource that usually does not let me down). It was a great movie, with happy ending and all – although there were moments where I thought I was watching my oldest son 15 years from now (the main character has some mental health challenges).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
