I’ve heard this song a couple of times in the last week but today it really struck me. I’ve linked to the video and listed the lyrics below:
“Remind Me Who I Am” by Jason Gray
When I lose my way,
And I forget my name,
Remind me who I am.
In the mirror all I see,
Is who I don’t wanna be,
Remind me who I am.
In the loneliest places,
When I can’t remember what grace is.
Tell me once again who I am to You,
Who I am to You.
Tell me lest I forget who I am to You,
That I belong to You.
To You.
When my heart is like a stone,
And I’m running far from home,
Remind me who I am.
When I can’t receive Your love,
Afraid I’ll never be enough,
Remind me who I am.
If I’m Your beloved,
Can You help me believe it.
Tell me once again who I am to You,
Who I am to You, whoa.
Tell me lest I forget who I am to You.
That I belong to You.
To You.
I’m the one you love,
I’m the one you love,
That will be enough,
I’m the one you love.
Tell me once again who I am to You.
Who I am to You.
Tell me lest I forget who I am to You,
That I belong to You, oh.
Tell me once again who I am to You.
Who I am to You.
Tell me lest I forget who I am to You,
That I belong to You.
To You.
Hi! I’m sorry to be kind of crashing on your blog, but I am trying to get in touch with Kimmy (of Mission Kim Possible) and am hoping to find someone who knows her personally. Since you both listed one another on your blogrolls and you also mention “local” sites on your blog, I figured there might be a chance you knew one another. Kimmy has changed the settings for leaving comments on her main blog in a way that no longer allows me to comment (I do not subscribe to any of the options, such as Blogger). I have tried leaving her a couple of comments on her sewing blog, which still has the old settings, but I don’t think she has posted there in about a year and as a result, I’m not sure if she will see my comments in time. I had her email address a couple of years back, but lost it in a computer crash.
Anyway, if you do happen to know Kimmy or have the ability to contact her, would you mind having her email me (I have left my email address on her sewing blog)? I am going to be in the city in a couple of months and will likely have a bit of spare time and was wondering if she would like to go for coffee or something.
Thanks so much. Have a blessed day!
Michelle
