#26: Listen to TED talks

Today was a pretty busy day and although I did get in my “Sunday soak” in the bathtub I didn’t have time for any new ‘fun’ things. But when everything was done for the day I sat down and took in a couple of TED talks.

I love TED. I think it’s a great concept. Here’s a description from their website: “TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design.”. Their website contains over 1000 “TED Talks” for people to listen to. I find them inspiring.

Tonight I listened to:
Julie Burstien
and Janine Shepherd

They were pretty good. I don’t listen to TED talks very often but I’m rarely disappointed when I do.

Here’s a list of my favorite talks:
Brene Brown – Vulnerability
Brene Brown – Shame
Simon Sinek – Leaders
Susan Cain – Introverts
Eve Ensler – your inner girl
